It works well on our lectern at church where lay leaders of various heights need to adjust the mike. We have used it for over a month and it seems to be holding up well. It would be even better if it were a little stiffer/more robust. The disadvantage I would point out is that with a heavy Sennheiser mike, the configurations are limited; the weight of the mike will pull the gooseneck down. It also seems as though the threading is not going to last and is going to strip rather quickly.
