Easy installation, nice sound, June 18, 2012 By  Matt from CA - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Dynomax 19391 Exhaust System (Automotive) This went on to my 2002 Jeep Wrangler. The installation process was very straight forward and simple, aside from one problem I had getting the pipe hangar into the rubber holder, but it just took a little elbow grease. The sound is nice, just a little louder and throatier than stock, which is what I wanted. A note if this is your first muffler installation: Be ready for this thing to smoke and smell like chemical fire for the first few miles, it's the rust preventative burning off. Dynomax should really mention this in the paperwork, I was a little nervous when smoke started billowing out of my exhaust pipe and the whole inside of my jeep smelled like struck matches. I did the install yesterday, and the smoke is gone today (50 miles later) but a little smell remains when I get onto the freeway and it really starts to heat up. Installed it my self with in two hours. make sure you have a hacksaw or something to cut the the old factory muffler off. It sound's great not to loud but you can notice. it also make a huge difference in air going through the motor. more power throught higher RPM's...great bolt for the Jeep.... This review is from: Dynomax 19391 Exhaust System (Automotive) Installed in under an hour... just cut your tailpipe off just after the muffler for easy removal and use some WD40 on rubber hangers and push them out with a set of channel lock pliers.... 2.5" Mandrel bent and alluminized. Two bolts and a clamp is all it takes! Sounds GREAT and flows more than double (502 CFM )of OEM ( 225 CFM)...Well worth the $142!!!
